The Thermo Scientific™ Productainer™ BioProcess Container (BPC), 50 L 3D system is composed of CX5-14 single web, multi-layer plastic film and includes 2 top ports and 1 bottom port. The 3D square tube design with bottom port dispense is for use with conical, bottom-drain drums.

Features

  • Eliminates post-use cleaning steps required with reusable containers
  • Reduces cross-contamination risks
  • Constructed in an ISO 7 cleanroom under cGMP conditions
  • Designed to fit support containers from 50 to 2000 L, both square and cylindrical types

Applications

  • Hydration and sterilization of process buffers, liquids, and culture media
  • Chromatography feed and fraction collection
  • Storage and transport of bulk drug product and precursors
  • Harvest from and feed into bioreactors and fermentors
  • Dispensing, packaging, and storage of cell culture media, buffers, and process liquids

  • Sample ports: septum-style and needle-free ports
