Target Information
Myosin은 근육 및 비근육 세포에서 actin과 상호작용하는 단백질로, 두 개의 동일한 heavy chain과 네 개의 light chain으로 구성되어 있습니다. Myosin 분자는 두 주요 영역인 tail(rod)과 head로 나뉘며, tail 영역을 통해 필라멘트를 형성하고 head 영역을 통해 actin 및 ATP와 상호작용합니다. Myosin heavy chain은 근육 유형에 따라 여러 형태가 존재하며, skeletal, cardiac, smooth, non-muscle isomyosin 형태가 있습니다. Skeletal muscle에서는 생리적 기능에 따라 type I (slow twitch)과 type II (fast twitch) 형태로 구분됩니다.
