For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD5 is a 67 kDa human T-lymphocyte single-chain transmembrane glycoprotein. It is expressed on all mature T-lymphocytes, most thymocytes, and many T-cell leukemias and lymphomas. CD5 also reacts with a subpopulation of activated B-cells and may function as a receptor regulating T-cell proliferation.
CD5 is found on approximately 95% of thymocytes and 72% of peripheral blood lymphocytes. In lymph nodes, reactivity is mainly in T-cell areas. Diseases associated with CD5 dysfunction include thymus cancer and Richter’s Syndrome.
