Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
KappaB ras-1 (kappa-B-ras-1) and kappaB-ras-2 are small Ras-like GTPases that associate with Ikappa-B, an inhibitor of NF-kappa-B.
Ikappa-B-alpha and Ikappa-B-beta are homologous forms; Ikappa-B-beta contains a unique 47-amino acid region within its ankyrin domain.
Inactive Ikappa-B-alpha–NF-kappa-B complexes shuttle between nucleus and cytoplasm, whereas Ikappa-B-beta–NF-kappa-B complexes remain cytoplasmic.
KappaB-ras proteins preferentially bind Ikappa-B-beta through this unique insert, modulating its localization and degradation rate.
