Purity: The precipitin lines against goat anti-human whole serum are the same as those against goat anti-human IgA, alpha chain specific, when assayed by immunoelectrophoresis at an antigen concentration of 20 mg/mL. No reaction was observed against goat anti-human IgG, Fc fragment-specific or goat anti-human IgM, Fc5-mu fragment specific.

This antibody is recommended for use in blocking assays, immunohistochemical, immunocytochemical and immunofluorescent applications.

Storage: Store product at 4°C until opened. After opening, dilute only enough antibody for a single day`s use. Store remainder at 4°C under sterile conditions.

Human IgA, also known as human immunoglobulin A, is an antibody that is produced by the immune system in response to antigens. It is the most abundant immunoglobulin in mucosal secretions, such as saliva, tears, and breast milk, and plays a key role in defense against pathogens at mucosal surfaces.
