Target Information
TNFAIP8L2 (TIPE2) — Tumor necrosis factor alpha-induced protein 8-like protein 2 acts as a negative regulator of innate and adaptive immunity by maintaining immune homeostasis. It inhibits Toll-like receptor and T-cell receptor signaling, preventing immune system hyperresponsiveness. TIPE2 also suppresses JUN/AP1 and NF-κB activation and promotes Fas-induced apoptosis.
