- Store vial at -20°C prior to opening.
- Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage.
- Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.

- Anti-ARHGAP22 pS22 is specific for phosphorylated ARHGAP22 at Serine 22.
- Recognizes S397→A mutation but not S22→A mutation.
- BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with Mouse, Rat, and Human based on 100% sequence homology.
- Cross-reactivity with ARHGAP22 pS22 from other sources has not been determined.
Target Information
GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs) accelerate the intrinsic rate of GTP hydrolysis of Ras-related proteins, downregulating their active form.
ARHGAP22 (Rho GTPase activating protein 22), also known as RHOGAP2, is a 698 amino acid cytoplasmic protein containing one Rho-GAP domain and one PH domain.
It functions as a GTPase-activating protein for Rac1, converting it to an inactive GDP-bound state, and interacts with ZNF161 (VEZF1) in transcription regulation.
Multiple isoforms exist due to alternative splicing events.
