This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%) to prevent contamination.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

This antibody specifically recognizes Human Granzyme B (GZMB).
Target Information
Granzyme B is a serine protease found in the granules of cytotoxic T cells and NK cells. It is also known as CGL1 or CTLA-1, expressed in activated cytotoxic T lymphocytes but not in non-cytotoxic lymphoid cells.
Granzyme B plays a key role in inducing apoptosis in target cells through:
- Interaction with mannose 6-phosphate receptor (death receptor)
- Cleavage of caspase-3 to initiate the caspase cascade
- Activation of mitochondrial apoptosis pathway via Bid protein cleavage
Granzymes (A–G) are neutral serine proteases stored in lytic granules of CTLs and NK cells. In humans, fewer granzymes have been cloned and identified compared to mouse models.
