Target Information
TCP-1 beta는 chaperonin containing TCP1 complex (CCT) 또는 TCP1 ring complex (TRiC)의 구성원으로서, 분자 샤페론 기능을 수행합니다. 이 복합체는 두 개의 동일한 적층 링으로 구성되어 있으며, 각각 8개의 서로 다른 단백질을 포함합니다. 미접힌 폴리펩타이드가 복합체의 중심 공동으로 들어가 ATP 의존적으로 접히며, actin과 tubulin을 포함한 다양한 단백질을 접는 역할을 합니다. TCP-1 beta 유전자의 대체 스플라이스 변이체가 보고되었으나 완전히 특성화되지는 않았습니다. TCP-1 beta 단백질 기능 장애와 관련된 질환으로는 epididymo-orchitis가 있습니다.
