Target Information
Adiponectin은 지방세포(adipocytes)에서만 분비되는 단백질 호르몬으로, 지질 및 포도당 대사를 조절합니다. 이 단백질은 항상성 유지와 비만 등 다양한 생리적 과정에 관여하며, 비만 및 인슐린 저항성과 관련된 낮은 혈중 농도가 보고되어 있습니다.
마우스 모델에서 adiponectin은 AMP kinase 및 PPAR-alpha 활성화를 통해 지방산 수송, 산화, 소모를 촉진하여 근육 내 지방 축적을 줄이고 인슐린 신호 전달을 개선하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
