Target Information
The DLX6 gene encodes a member of a homeobox transcription factor gene family similar to the Drosophila distal-less gene. This family includes at least six members involved in forebrain and craniofacial development. The gene is located in a tail-to-tail configuration with another family member on the long arm of chromosome 7.
