TAX1BP3는 PDZ 도메인 결합 부위를 경쟁적으로 차지함으로써 여러 단백질-단백질 상호작용을 조절할 수 있습니다.
CTNNB1과 결합하여 Wnt 신호전달 경로의 억제 인자로 작용할 수 있으며, LIN7A와 KCNJ4 결합 경쟁을 통해 KCNJ4의 내재화를 촉진합니다.
또한 Rho 신호전달 경로 및 HPV16 E6 단백질에 의한 CDC42 활성화에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
