Target Information
SPT6는 히스톤 H3에 결합하는 전사 신장 인자로, 전사 신장 및 mRNA 처리 조절에 핵심적인 역할을 함. RNA polymerase II (RNAPII)에 의한 전사 신장을 촉진하며, HIV-1 Tat에 의한 활성화에도 필요함. 또한 IWS1 및 RNAPII의 C-terminal domain과 복합체를 형성하여 mRNA 스플라이싱, 수출, 히스톤 변형 효소(SETD2 등)와의 상호작용을 통해 H3K36 메틸화 조절에 기여함.
SUPT6H는 SETD1A와의 결합을 통해 AICDA 타겟 유전자에서 H3K4me3 마크 형성 및 면역 관련 유전자 재조합에 관여하며, 근육 형성 유전자 활성화 시 H3K27me3 억제 마크 제거를 유도함.
