Target Information
Acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC)는 복합 다기능 효소 시스템으로, biotin을 포함하는 효소이며 acetyl-CoA를 malonyl-CoA로 카복실화하는 반응을 촉매합니다. 이 반응은 지방산 합성의 속도 제한 단계입니다. ACC에는 α와 β 두 가지 형태가 있으며, 각각 다른 유전자에 의해 인코딩됩니다. ACC-α는 지방 생성 조직에 풍부하며, 전사 및 번역 수준에서 장기적으로 조절되고, serine 잔기의 인산화/탈인산화 및 citrate 또는 palmitoyl-CoA에 의한 알로스테릭 조절에 의해 단기적으로 조절됩니다. 또한 5' 서열이 다른 여러 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변형체가 보고되었습니다.
