Target Information
CAPG 유전자는 actin 조절 단백질인 gelsolin/villin 계열에 속하는 단백질을 암호화합니다.
이 단백질은 Ca²⁺ 및 phosphoinositide에 의해 조절되며, F-actin 필라멘트의 바브드 엔드를 가역적으로 차단하지만 이미 형성된 필라멘트를 절단하지는 않습니다.
이를 통해 비근육 세포에서 actin 기반 세포 운동성을 조절합니다.
또한, 대체 스플라이싱 전사체 변이가 보고되었으나 완전히 기술되지는 않았습니다.
