Target Information
PHKG2는 phosphorylase kinase의 gamma 서브유닛 중 testis/liver isoform을 암호화하는 단백질입니다.
Phosphorylase kinase는 alpha, beta, gamma, delta의 네 가지 서브유닛이 각각 4개씩 결합된 16량체로 구성됩니다.
- Alpha 서브유닛은 skeletal muscle 및 hepatic isoform을 가지며, 서로 다른 유전자에 의해 암호화됩니다.
- Beta 서브유닛은 동일한 유전자에서 유래하며 두 isoform 모두에 공통입니다.
- Gamma 서브유닛은 활성을 담당하며, hepatic isoform은 PHKG2 유전자에 의해 암호화됩니다.
- Delta 서브유닛은 calmodulin이며, 세 가지 다른 유전자에 의해 암호화될 수 있습니다.
Gamma 서브유닛은 효소의 활성 부위를 포함하고, alpha 및 beta 서브유닛은 인산화에 의해 조절되는 조절 기능을 가집니다.
Delta 서브유닛은 효소의 칼슘 농도 의존성을 매개합니다.
