Target Information
AMOT (Angiomotin)은 angiostatin 결합 단백질 계열(motin family)에 속하며, 보존된 coiled-coil 도메인과 C-terminal PDZ 결합 모티프를 특징으로 합니다.
AMOT는 ARHGAP17과의 복합체를 통해 tight junction 유지에 중심적인 역할을 하며, polarity 단백질의 흡수를 조절합니다.
또한 AMOT는 주로 모세혈관 및 태반의 대형 혈관 내피세포에서 발현되어, angiostatin이 혈관 신생 과정 중 내피세포의 이동과 관 형성을 억제하는 데 관여할 수 있습니다.
