Target Information
DYKDDDDK tag, also known as FLAG tag, is a short peptide sequence used for protein purification, detection, and localization.
It consists of eight amino acids (Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys) and can be fused to the N- or C-terminus of a protein of interest.
This tag enables easy identification and isolation using anti-FLAG antibodies.
The FLAG tag is more hydrophilic than other epitope tags, reducing the likelihood of protein denaturation.
