Phospho-EphA1 (Tyr599) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of EphA1 only when phosphorylated at Tyr599.
Target Information
EphA1 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein-tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors are involved in developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system.
These receptors typically have a single kinase domain and an extracellular region with a cysteine-rich domain and two fibronectin type III repeats.
Ephrin receptors are classified into two groups based on extracellular domain sequence similarity and their binding affinities for ephrin-A and ephrin-B ligands.
EphA1 is expressed in some human cancer cell lines and has been implicated in carcinogenesis.
