Target Information
Poly(A) nuclease with 3'-5' RNase activity. Catalytic component of the CCR4-NOT complex, one of the major cellular mRNA deadenylases linked to processes such as mRNA degradation, miRNA-mediated repression, translational repression, and transcription regulation. Also involved in mRNA decay mediated by the FOS gene mCRD determinant. Enhances ligand-dependent transcriptional activity of nuclear hormone receptors (e.g., RARA) in presence of ZNF335. Mediates cell proliferation and survival, preventing cellular senescence.
