Product Specific Information

Description:
The 3D12 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CCR7, also known as EBI-1 and CD197. CCR7 is a G-protein-coupled chemokine receptor with seven membrane-spanning domains, functioning as a receptor for 6Ckine/SLC (CCL19 and CCL21). It is expressed on T cells and dendritic cells and plays a role in migration, maturation, and immune cell trafficking.

Applications Reported:
This antibody is suitable for flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested for flow cytometry with normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (1 µg)/test. Recommended incubation time is at least 45 minutes at 2–8°C.

Fluorophore Information:
APC-eFluor 780 emits at 780 nm and is excited by the Red laser (633 nm). Ensure instrument compatibility.
Light-sensitive: protect from photo-induced oxidation.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.

Target Information

CCR7 is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family involved in chemokine signaling. It is induced by Epstein-Barr virus and expressed in blood, bone marrow, lymph nodes, and intestines. CCR7 regulates migration of memory T cells and dendritic cell maturation. Ligands include chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 19 (CCL19/ECL).

Receptors in the C-C chemokine family include CCR1, CCR2A, CCR3, CCR4, CCR5, and the Duffy antigen. These receptors are critical for T cell chemotaxis and phagocyte migration to inflammation sites.
