Target Information
PDGFRB는 receptor tyrosine kinase로, atherogenesis 및 SIS oncogene에 의한 세포 변환에 관여합니다. 이 성장 인자들은 간엽 기원의 세포에 대한 mitogen으로 작용합니다. 결합된 성장 인자의 종류에 따라 수용체는 homodimer 또는 heterodimer(platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha 및 beta 폴리펩타이드로 구성) 형태를 가집니다.
해당 유전자는 염색체 5번에 위치하며, granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor 및 macrophage-colony stimulating factor receptor 유전자와 인접해 있습니다. 이 세 유전자는 5-q 증후군에 관여할 수 있습니다.
염색체 5와 12 사이의 전좌로 PDGFRB (CD140b)가 ETV6 유전자와 융합되면, 호산구 증가를 동반한 만성 골수증식성 질환이 발생할 수 있습니다.
