Target Information
SGMS2는 인지질 콜린포스포트랜스퍼레이스(bidirectional lipid cholinephosphotransferase)로, phosphatidylcholine(PC)과 ceramide를 sphingomyelin(SM) 및 diacylglycerol(DAG)로 전환하거나 역반응을 수행합니다. DAG와 ceramide의 상대 농도에 따라 반응 방향이 결정되며, 기질의 콜린 머리 그룹을 직접적으로 인식합니다. 효율적인 기질 인식에는 콜린-P donor 분자의 두 지방 사슬이 필요합니다. SM synthase로만 기능하지 않을 수 있으며, 세균성 PC-phospholipase C inhibitor D609에 의해 억제됩니다. Golgi apparatus 및 Golgi membrane에 위치하며, 다중 막 통과 단백질입니다. Brain, heart, kidney, liver, muscle, stomach에서 발현 가능성이 있습니다.
